Ingredients
- 2 tsp lavender water
- 1/2 tsp aloe vera
- 1 tsp green clay
- 1 drop juniper essential oil
- 1 drop lavender essential oil
Instructions
- Add the lavender water and the aloe vera to a small bowl
- Sprinkle the green clay onto the liquid and stir thoroughly, using the ends of a teaspoon
- If the mixture is still too wet, add more clay; if it's too dry, add more lavender water until you have achieved a nice thick paste that is easy to spread on your skin
- Add essential oils, stirring thoroughly
Notes
Prepare your mask and apply to freshly cleansed skin, avoiding the eyes and lips; if you have too much for your face, apply the remainder to your neck and chest.
Relax for 15-20 minutes.
If the mask starts to feel too tight as it dries, dampen it slightly with water.
To remove the mask, soak a clean face cloth in hand-hot water and place over your face to dampen the mask. Remove the mask with the wet cloth, taking care not to scrub and rinsing the cloth several times.
To finish, either rinse your face one last time with clean water or use the remainder of your lavender water as a finishing rinse.
