Wintergreen Essential Oil contains 85-99% of methyl salicylate the same active ingredient as birch and is beneficial in massage for soothing head tension and muscles after exercising. Methyl salicylate, the principal constituent of wintergreen, has been incorporated into numerous liniments and ointments for musculoskeletal problems.

Common Uses:
Soothing head tension in massage and muscles after exercising; relieves muscle aches and stiffness in the joints; Use in blends for joint pain and supports healthy muscle, joint or cartilage function
Aromatic Influence:
It is mentally stimulating and increases attentiveness. The odor is its signature. It stimulates and increases awareness in all levels of the sensory system.
Blends Well With:
Basil, bergamot, chamomile, cypress, geranium, juniper, lavender, lemongrass, marjoram, peppermint
Application:
Photosensitivity: None
Dilute 50-50
– 1 part essential oil with 1 part of carrier oil. For age 0-1, use 1 drop of essential oil to 8-10 drop of carrier oil. For age 2-6, use 1 drop of essential oil to 2-4 drops of carrier oil. For age 7 and above, use 1 drop of essential oil to 1 drop of carrier oil.
Apply 1-2 drops on area of concern
Apply to chakras/Vita Flex points
Directly inhale or diffuse
